As mayor, my priorities will be to support and foster

• a professional, cooperative approach to conducting the business of the city council and developing the direction of the city
• the implementation of the comprehensive plan
• continuing an aggressive street maintenance program and expanding it to address sidewalks and other public facilities
• addressing contamination in our parks and implementing the parks’ strategy
• private sector engagement to find new uses for vacant buildings and sites
• joining with housing partners to encourage housing rehabilitation and address vacant or blighted homes
• making the city more resilient in the face of changing conditions
• communicating about the council’s activities and actions more fully to the public
• leveraging public and private grant funding to maximize and stretch tax dollars
